Effective Training Strategies

Participants in this class will review the principles of adult learning, differentiate between participant-centered and instructor-led teaching, develop learning objectives based on the organization model, and identify at least three (3) participant-centered strategies that they can incorporate in their training.

• Participants will be able to recall the principles of adult learning and key differences between participant-centered and instructor-led teaching.
• Participants will be able to explain the importance of adult learning principles and the benefits of participant-centered strategies.
• Participants will be able to develop learning objectives based on the organization model and apply adult learning principles to their training designs.
• Participants will be able to analyze different training strategies to identify the strengths and weaknesses of participant-centered and instructor-led methods.
